New Generation of WiFi enabled cameras for AP / Elevated Photography

In the good old days, when you had to know your HDMI from your USB, and Wifi was just a blot in your camera's eye, roll on 2013 and WiFi enabled camera's are much in trend with manufacturers. This is great news for the elevated photography industry providing more options and choice for the photographer.

So here is a round up of the latest camera's and camera control devices available on the market, 

Canon have incorporated Wifi capability into their latest EOS camera, with the ability to control the camera from an Apple or Android smartphone with the Canon EOS Remote App.

 

Sony's Nex-6 camera enables control via their remote control app.

The increasingly popular and innovative Samsung, have embraced WiFi technology, with the WB150F which is the camera featured on our quickshot8xs, which can be controlled via the Samsung Remote Viewfinder app.

 

If you don't want to change your camera, there are a number of options including camera apps for live view and camera control from your Apple or Android device.

The CamRanger allows complete wireless control of your Canon or Nikon DSLR directly from your iPad iPhone and iPod touch. This looks like a great solution and supports a large range of camera's.

Cameramator is a relatively new product to market that allows you to control your DSLR and review images with an iPad, iphone and Android Devices. 


Camera tech is constantly changing and innovating, but Wifi capability and wireless remote control is definately a trend that is growing for video and photography.
